Our neighborhood is becoming a safer place with friendly Bike Ambassadors, who act as additional eyes and ears in the community, providing an enhanced sense of security, often providing support to emergency responders. The Lancaster City Alliance’s Bike Ambassadors enhance the quality of life for people who live, work and visit the City. They are trained to serve as community ambassadors, aiding people with directions and pointing out local amenities. They routinely identify nuisance issues such as excessive trash, graffiti and city maintenance issues.
Our efforts to improve the quality of life in our neighborhood have been noticed!

Our neighborhood is becoming a greener place thanks to help from UGI, TreeVitalize, the Lancaster Rotary and the Lancaster County Conservancy Urban Greening. We are planting street trees to cool us on hot summer days and provide clean, fresh air to breathe. We look forward to a greener city that is connected with recreational trails so that you can enjoy a walk or ride through nature.
Our neighborhood is becoming a cleaner place thanks to a gift of 20 litter receptacles and the Adopt-a-Block program. More neighbors are picking up litter during their walks and cleaning up after their dogs. We are empowering our neighbors to report excessive trash and graffiti. Trash receptacles are available for adoption on your corner. Community groups are mobilizing to adopt streets and public places for clean up.
If you would like to report a non-emergency incident that occurred within the Bike Squad Coverage Area, please use the Incident/Situation Report Form.
